Is that a Murderer on your T-shirt? The Truth about Che Guevara

Stalin was Right. America is full of "Useful Idiots". The latest example of Liberals love affair with Communist Ideal...Where else? Central Park. It is being widely reported on the Web, and of course completely ignored by the OLM, that a statue has been erected in Central Park honoring cold blooded murderer Ernesto "Che" Guevara.



In his column, Visiting Che Guevara in Central Park, Jack Kemp wrote, "I read in AT that a statue of bloodthirsty revolutionary Che Guevara has appeared in Central Park, so I went to 5th Ave. & 60th street to see it for myself." I feel you, Jack, it truly is something you would have to see with your own eyes. In fact I waited to publish this blog until I was able to get confirmation from the reports over the weekend. I just couldn't believe that Anyone would want a statue honoring, Cuba's Communist Dictator, Fidel Castro's personal killing machine. I don't know why I'm surprised. My husband says I give people too much credit, that I'm always hoping they are 'better' than they turn out to be. Maybe he's right.

It's not like this is the first time the Liberals on the left have glorified this psychopath, they've been walking around with his Face on their dirty t-shirts for years, much to the dismay of Cuban Americans everywhere. In 2005, the Seattle Times did a story about the growing outrage from Cuban Americans over the continued marketing of Che t-shirts and trinkets. Who doesn't want a mass murder's picture on their Cup filled with overpriced Coffee? It's Seattle.

A Less Truthful version of the following image is what is considered "Trendy" amongst College Students and other mush minded individuals...

Increasingly, when young Latinos wear his image, older Cuban Americans are offended — to the point of shouting matches that threaten to erupt into fistfights.

One recent afternoon, 73-year-old Carlos Barberia was waiting for a bus in Union City, N.J., when he spotted a Guevara T-shirt on a sidewalk rack. He bought the shirt — and promptly set it on fire with a burning newspaper.

"Che Guevara killed my father," he told a police officer, explaining his outburst. "He had my father shot by a firing squad in Cuba."

The officer turned out to be Cuban American, too. "He told me, 'I have not seen anything' and he walked away," Barberia said.

Every time I see a teenager with Che Guevara's picture plastered on a T-shirt I feel sad. I wonder if they even know who this man really was.

During the first years of the Castro regime, Che was the head executioner. He is also responsible for founding the work camps, where the opposition were sent, including my father, who did nothing against the communist regime.


I have to tell you the Che T-shirt phenomenon is something that really gets under my skin, in fact one of the first groups I joined on Facebook was the "Che Guevara is a Murderer and Your T-shirt is Not Cool". Maybe not the catchiest of titles but effective and too the point. Thankfully I am not alone in my desire to openly mock Che t-shirt wearers. Which gives me some solace, but as Jay Nordlinger at National Review online points out, "The world is awash in Che paraphernalia, and this is an ongoing offense to truth, reason, and justice (a fine trio). "

Yet with all the evidence of his Barbaric behavior, Time Magazine still named Ernesto 'Che' Guevarra to their 100 Heroes and Icons list in June of 1999. Again we shouldn't be surprised, Time also featured him on the cover in 1960. They are just one of many OLM news outlets that have been accused of supporting Castro's dictatorship by Cuban exiles over the years.

In 2004 the film "The Motorcycle Diaries" was released to a flurry of praise by all those on the left. Supposedly a story of pre-Revolution Che. The Romantic beginnings that all the Liberals love....the story doesn't go in his later "Violent years" But does clarify one thing, Che was never poor. He was as most Liberals are Upper Middle Class. In one of the Most accurate Movie Reviews ever a reader known only as Zane wrote "It is as if someone were to make a film about Adolf Hitler by portraying him as a vegetarian who loved animals and was against unemployment. This would be true, but would be rather beside the point.Guevara was a violent, oppressive man. 'The Motorcycle Diaries' is the epitome of my generations pretentiousness." Couldn't have said it better myself.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Che Guevara, he was supposedly a doctor in Mexico when he met up with Castro Brothers. He became the third leg of the "Cuban Revolution". Guevara fought side by side with the Castros then took their Revolution to the people. It is estimated that Guevara is personally responsible for anywhere from 2000 to 150,000 Cuban Deaths. Notice the low number is 2000. This man was a viscous henchmen for Castro, his job was to put down any dissenters to "the cause", it was a position he relished. Guevara famously executed political prisoners without fair trial. You want to know the Truth about Che Guevara, take a few minutes and watch the following video. While it in no way covers all of the treachery of this man, it will give you a good idea of what he was Really like.



There are several books available if you are so inclined on the Real History of this assassin, one of which is Exposing Che Guevara. It was while looking at this book written by Humberto Fontova Amazon.com that I came across a review, and the reviewers thoughts seemed to capture my thoughts and convey them in a way, that I think even Liberals could understand....

book against ALL dictators. I imagine you must feel
the same rage seeing a Che T-shirt as I do seeing a
Mao T-shirt. It bothers me that many people do not
think twice about wearing either T-shirt, but if
somebody wore a T-shirt with the visage of Hitler,
Stalin, bin Laden, or that Virginia Tech guy it'd be
all over the news.


Since "History" is now confined to our lifetime in this country, I thought it was a brilliant analogy to use the VA Tech shooter as an example. Something so tragic perpetrated by one individual that caused so much pain for so many. That is what the image of Che Guevara means to Cuban Americans and exiles, yet someone thought it was a good idea to put up a statue in Central Park.

November 22, 2008 Victory in Iraq Day

Two years ago this war was lost.
The American public was tired of the daily bombings and the reports of death. Thanks to the efforts of the media and continual pounding from Democratic Party members America was ready to give up on this front and quit. America was told was the worst foreign policy decision in its history. Some believed this was the worst slaughter of American lives in history. Some even scoffed at the genocide that would occur if we left. America no longer understand why victory was essential or why war was called war. The images of Saddam Hussein being pulled out of a spider hole were a distant memory.
America had lost its will to fight.

But, President George W. Bush would not accept defeat.

Despite the best efforts of Democrats and their partners in the media, President Bush understood what was best for this country and what was best for Iraq and the Middle East.
A new fighting plan with a surge of troops was organized.
A new general named Petraeus was put in charge.

Time for the GOP to make a Hard Right

After giving up the White House and numerous seats in Congress, the GOP is doing exactly what it should be doing. Reorganizing and coming up with a plan. All over the country, Republican groups are getting together to discuss the future of the Party. Those that call themselves "moderates" are calling for Republicans to move away from those pesky "evangelical" and "religious" members that can't seem to let go of that killing unborn babies thing or that annoying aversion to Gay Marriage. These same "Moderates" thing the GOP should also loosen up on Al Gore's money maker, "Global Warming". Some would call these people a RINO (Republican In Name Only). I have another name for those people..... Democrats.

Take Kathleen Parker, Please! And anyone else who agrees with her....While her name is not familiar yet, get used to her, she was just named Republican of the Year by the OLM. In a Column entitled "Giving Up on God" that appeared in the Washington Post, Parker wrote:


As Republicans sort out the reasons for their defeat, they likely will overlook or dismiss the gorilla in the pulpit.
Three little letters, great big problem: G-O-D.

I'm bathing in holy water as I type.

To be more specific, the evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is what ails the erstwhile conservative party and will continue to afflict and marginalize its constituents if reckoning doesn't soon cometh.

Simply put: Armband religion is killing the Republican Party. And, the truth -- as long as we're setting ourselves free -- is that if one were to eavesdrop on private conversations among the party intelligentsia, one would hear precisely that.

The choir has become absurdly off-key, and many Republicans know it.

But they need those votes!

So it has been for the Grand Old Party since the 1980s or so, as it has become increasingly beholden to an element that used to be relegated to wooden crates on street corners.

Which is to say, the GOP has surrendered its high ground to its lowest brows. In the process, the party has alienated its non-base constituents, including other people of faith (those who prefer a more private approach to worship), as well as secularists and conservative-leaning Democrats who otherwise might be tempted to cross the aisle.




There seems to be an increase in the use of labels in Politics. Where there used to be Republicans and Democrats, there are now Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Conservatives, Moderate Republicans, Neo-Conservatives, Moderate Democrats, Liberals and Socialists. Let's not forget the Independent-Right leaning or the Independent-Left Leaning. People have not changed, just the labels have. Take me, for instance, I didn't find out that I was a Conservative until college. I knew I was a Republican, I didn't know you needed to add the Conservative part. To me Conservative-Republican sounded redundant. Oh How I miss Reagan.

While I was ready another blog the other day, I came across a link to Yourmorals.org, a fascinating site where you can "Test your Morals" and find out just how you compare to other Republicans and Democrats on some major issues. Turns out I'm even more Conservative than I thought, I'm pretty sure I'm now officially a Right-Wing Nut Job on the scale. To be honest I kind of sensed that about myself anyway. I've always recognized Ann Coulter's Genius.

I must admit I've also got a Political Crush on Jonah Goldberg as of late as well. His book "Liberal Fascism" is a must read for anyone who wants confirmation of your fears about the "New Thought Police" first identified by Tammy Bruce. Goldberg made the good list this week again, with his very public response to Kathleen Parker, by saying, "Quit it. Kathleen"in his column at the National Review

I don't know what's more grating, the quasi-bigotry that has you calling religious Christians low brows, gorillas and oogedy-boogedy types or the bravery-on-the-cheap as you salute -- in that winsome way -- your own courage for saying what (according to you) needs to be said. Please stop bragging about how courageous you are for weathering a storm of nasty email you invite on yourself by dancing to a liberal tune. You aren't special for getting nasty email, from the right or the left. You aren't a martyr smoking your last cigarette. You're just another columnist, talented and charming to be sure, but just another columnist. You are not Joan of the Op-Ed Page. Perhaps the typical Washington Post reader (or editor) doesn't understand that. But you should, and most conservatives familiar with these issues can see through what you're doing.


Take That, Ms. Parker.

Online columns are not the only place these internal 'bitch slaps' are being exchanged. As Alexander Burns is reporting over at Politco, the Republican 'thinkers' at the National Review Insitute traded barbs including "Liberal" and "Cancer". You can guess which faction each represents.

Over at the RNC, the battle for the Chairmanship has begun between Michael Steele and Katon Dawson who have 'officially' announced their candidacy. Other names are still being thrown around including Duncan Hunter a darling among many conservatives. Let me tell you what I like about Michael Steele, a legitimate conservative voice, he's witty, photogenic, comfortable giving National interviews and already has his own Website promoting his effort. Since the Chairman's job is basically to market the GOP to the public, it's important that person know how to get a message out in the "new media" as well as the OLM. On the issues and the strategy, Steele seems to get it.

Steele wrote "Listen.Adapt.Be Positive" in the Wall Street Journal....

Republicans once said that the opportunities this nation has to offer rest not in government but rather in the hands of individuals. Over the past decade or so, however, we Republicans lost our way. The disparity between our rhetoric and our action grew until our credibility snapped. It wasn't the fault of our ideals. It was the failure of our leadership.

Over time, our principles morphed into baser motives. Continued political dominance grew more important to those who led us than the noble vision most of us originally signed on for. And to maintain power we turned to the controls of government -- we became the party of big government. We behaved like Democrats
.

Steele goes on to say that we need to talk more about what we stand for and less about what we oppose. I tend to agree with him. Having said that, those that no longer Stand for the Platform and Principles of the Republican Party can go. We don't need to become more liberal in order to win elections. We've always won when we stood by our Conservative ideals rather than abandoned them. Obama didn't win by running as the most Liberal Senator in Congress in the national election as he did in the Primaries. In the National election he made promises of "Tax Cuts for 95%" of Americans, even though he has Never previously supported a Tax Cut in his very short career, Americans liked the way it sounded. Hint: It sounded Conservative.

It's not just the RINO's that are crying for more "moderation", the Liberals also think the Repbulican's should move left.Mort Kondrake is just the latest member of the OLM to give advice to Republicans. He suggests that the Republicans need to stop letting Conservative Talk Show hosts set our Agenda, as though they have been up unto this point. Clearly Mort doesn't tune in to Rush or Sean very often. Forgetting the ridiculousness of the premise...Why would any Republican want advice from a Liberal? Are we supposed to believe that Kondrake really has our party's best interest at heart. Never, Never Trust a Liberal. In fact I think we should do the opposite of what Kondrake is suggesting, it's time for the GOP to make a Hard Right.

It's time we separated the Wheat from the Chafe. For those "moderates" that want us to move to the center...take a look at the results from Nov 4th, How did that work out for you? John McCain was the perfect "moderate republican" candidate, always willing to "Reach across the Aisle" to work with the Democrats. I think it was Margaret Thatcher who said "if you stand in the middle of the Road, you get hit by a Car." We've been hit twice now, it's time to get out of the Middle of the Road and back on the side of Conservatism.

Hey Chicken Little, The Sky is Falling....

I'm sensing a theme in what I'm reading and in conversations I'm having with friends. It would appear the Sky is Falling and people are Scared. Mostly of what a Barack Obama presidency will bring. I'm not the only one who has noticed, Selwyn Duke over at AmericanThinker wrote a fantastic description of this phenomenon.

In all my life I have never seen an American politician who could make so many Americans' blood run cold.


Yeah, that sounds about right. Duke's article is directed at the President-elect's plan to create a Civic Group as well funded as our Military, a/k/a Obama's Youth and the terror it causes in people who are familiar with history. You know that time in the past, when People were so eager for National pride that they supported the Nazi party, because of Hilter making him Chancellor? Or when Cries of Revolution! Turned into Castro's Cuba? I don't want to be accused of "Godwin's Law" a term I didn't even know existed until today, it's a term coined in the olden days of Internet chat stating that comparing anyone to Hitler diminishes the real thing or the threat of the real thing. It was term that's origins make sense but also prove a strange point. Liberals have been running around for eight years calling George W. Bush, Hitler. Never mind the fact that there has never been a great friend of Freedom or Israel than our Current President. Still they called Bush, Hitler and Nazi. Now we've got a President-elect who smacks of Marxist ideology and talks about an Organized Civil Force. Obama's propaganda site Change.gov has already been altered multiple times adjusting the agenda and scope of the planned "Universal Volunteer Civil Force". This behavior has drawn the word "Orwellian" to more than one person's mind.

Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

This second quote touches on the next Reason people fear Obama. His unbridled control over information. The OLM is eagerly awaiting their next assignment from The One. What will happen if the Dems get their magic #60 votes and the "Censorship Doctrine" is brought back? What will be the Punishment for a dissenting voice? People are scared that this could happen because Liberals seem content to imagine a world free of opposition to their view. One friend told me about her concern that Liberals actually Fear information. I know where she's coming from, many liberals talk about Fox News as though watching it could result in a retro-active Vote for Bush. I disagree with the way the News is presented on CNN, but at no time do I fear that by watching CNN I will somehow turn into a Godless Liberal. Liberals beliefs are so easily swayed that they can't even hear/read an opposing view point. So much for Open mindedness.....

Then you have the current economic crisis. Who knew that electing Obama would cause the largest slide in the Markets since the crash of 1987? Rhetorical question but give yourself two points if you answered: Anyone who listened to what businesses were saying prior to the election. Remember the owner of the Miami Dolphins saying he was selling his share in anticipation of an Obama Victory to avoid Obama's ridiculous plan to increase capital gains tax, famously saying "I'd rather give it to charity". I'm convinced that some of what we are seeing is healthy companies making cuts prior to becoming unhealthy under the new Obama Tax Code. It's what a good business should do. The Markets are reacting to what we all know, Government involvement hurts the Free Market every time it's tried. They also know the Obama administration plans to get as involved as possible and now they've got a blank check to do so.

This debate about whether or not to bail out the Auto Industry is futile. Once Obama's sworn in he'll be handing out Your money to the Big 3 by the fist-full. He made that clear when he "leaked" his desire to Bail them out. Welcome to Nationalized Auto Sales! Because with the Government money comes that word that Liberals like to use to sound important, "Oversight". Ha! When a Democrat says Oversight, what they mean is regulations and rules that will please my Environmental and Union Donors. Where is a good old fashioned Union Buster when you need them? The UAW is to blame for this mess. But you won't hear that from The One's Administration, ever.

Then of course there is the very real fear of Obama's inexperience on issues of National Security. For all the reasons that I didn't trust him prior to November 4th, I still don't. But the good news is...We've pretty much won in Iraq. This Saturday, an online celebration of Victory in Iraq will be taking place to honor the troops that have made the handing over of Iraq to the Iraqi people possible, since the OLM is ignoring the story. Bad News still have to deal with the Rest of the Region.


The Culture of Life in the Bush Administration will be replaced by an Abortion on Demand philosophy. This is causing many Christians and other pro-life advocates to lose more than a little sleep at night at the thought of all restrictions being removed from current abortion laws as Obama has supported.

So while all of these concerns are Real if the Sky is Falling, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to Run around like Chicken Little or are you going to take Action? Let me tell you this, Fear is a funny thing. It can paralyze you, if you let it. Taking action will have positive effects both psychologically and practically.

Contact Your Representative in Congress Today! Tell them how you feel on whatever issue drives you. Save their contact information and Use it regularly. Keep tabs on Issues and Bills that concern you! Don't just Run around like Chicken Little, Let Your Voice Be Heard!

Negligent Voters + Media Malpractice= Obama's Presidency

You know how we've been making jokes about the blind Obama followers? How we laughed at their unabashed worship? There is a reason jokes are funny, it's because the good ones contain a grain of Truth. In the case of the Obama disciples, it's more like a Silo of Truth and I'm not sure if it's Funny anymore.

The Onion known for their satire of current events even produced a news segment entitled "Obama Wins Causes Supporters To Realize How Empty Their Lives Are"

HowObamaGotElected.com released a video this weekend as a teaser for an upcoming documentary on called "Media Malpractice...How Obama got elected" This clip show interviews with 12 actual Obama voters on election day immediately as they left the polling area. The questions are not intended to embarrass the participants but instead to shine a spotlight on the way the OLM impacted the 2008 Presidential election. They include such "gotcha questions" as Who controls the Congress? And Who is Nancy Pelosi? The results are not surprising, but that doesn't make it any less disturbing.

As you watch, think about this 12 people interviewed. How is it that they know basically the exact same information? Don't think the Un-Fairness Doctrine is Important? Keep this in mind, less than a month ago the Pew Research center released a study showing that Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh listeners were significantly more informed than those that got their news solely from the OLM. This Video confirms the need for alternative voices that would be silenced by the Censorship Doctrine.



The group also hired Zogby to conduct a telephone poll that gathered similar results. The poll found that 86% of Obama Voters didn't know Obama said that he would bankrupt the coal industry while skyrocketing energy prices, but Did know that Palin's wardrobe supposedly cost $150,000. It's about Priorities people. Who cares about the loss of an Entire Industry and all the jobs it creates? What really matters is what a candidate is wearing. I won't even get into the fact that the $150,000 was used to buy clothes for the entire Palin clan, so they weren't mocked by the OLM for being too "small town". Nor will I mention I didn't read anything about how Much the Men's hand tailored designer suits costs...

FreedomMarch.org a group that was formed mid-October in response to the OLM's handling of the Rhasid Khalidi tapes being held by the LA Times, has a great quote "Three political parties exist in the US today: Patriots, Socialists, and the uninformed." Joe - FreedomMarch Founder 11-5-08


It's not as though this information was not available to the masses. It just wasn't spoon fed to them by the OLM. Something like 85% of people have access to the internet, so John McCain should have won by that margin alone. Obama followers made a choice not to be informed about their candidate. Most of you can probably confirm that through personal experience. I know when I tried to have a conversation with them, they weren't really interested in hearing anything about the One anyway. They would exclaim he "transcends". Which I now understand, that was their excuse for being a lazy voter. No need to research or learn anything. Just believe in Obama.

While the OLM is partially to blame for the Uninformed part of that equation, the People who choose to not to research their candidate before pulling the lever are equally as responsible. It is our job to educate these Obama Voters, friends and family that for whatever reason bought Obama's Magic Beans, we need to do it one Vote at at time, so we can slow down the Socialism Train in 2010.

Bill Ayers "Mock the Vote" Tour 2008

Remember Bill Ayers, that guy that 'lived in Obama's Neighborhood', well the OLM finally found him. He was spotted on the set of Good Morning America pitching his book called ready for this? " Race Course Against White Supremacy". Ayers is cashing in on what he calls his "brush with celebrity", by Reissuing his classic book "Fugitive Days"...You know when he was on the run with his terrorist wife Bernadette Dorhn before they turned themselves into the FBI. In the new versions, Ayers refers to The One as a "family friend". Awesome.

Now the OLM wants to talk to Ayers? Just a week after the election, ABC News all of a sudden thinks he might have something to say. I could be wrong but this feels a bit like they are rubbing our faces in it....

And to be honest when I watched the following video of Bill Ayers and his terrorist Bride, Bernadette Dorhn, I became convinced they are laughing all the way to the bank. They believe that America just swallowed the pill of Socialism. When these two are Giddy about the direction our Country is headed in, I think we have a reason to be concerned.

In an interview on Democracy Now! when describing how he felt at Obama's Million Dollar Bash on Election night, Ayers says "I mean, it was the sense that we were going to leave behind the era of 9/11 and the era of fear and war without end and repression and constitutional shredding and scapegoating of gay and lesbian people, on and on.." Leave behind the era of 9/11? We made a promise to those that lost their lives that day...we promised to Never Forget. Bill Ayers said something else that day...that his terrorist organization the Weather Underground should have done more. Now he calls the President-elect, a "family friend".

As I've said before his wife Bernadette Dorhn was wanted by the FBI in connection with Weather Underground activities as well. It is not lost on me that this is what she had to say about Obama's campaign..."He’s been vetted and vetted and vetted, and there was nothing there to throw at him" Vetted and Vetted? Really? Because I would have loved to have seen an interview with you about a month ago...I'm just saying...

Raw arrogance has become a trademark for the un-repentant terrorist. When the FBI failed to gain a conviction due to a technicality, Ayers famously quipped " Guilty as Hell, Free as a Bird, America is a Great Country."

There is none of that guilty talk now though...Now just 27 years later he paints himself as a common Vietnam war protester.

Ayers continued his My Best Friend's going to Be President Tour with a speaking engagement in the pit of all evil DC. While he was welcomed by some that attended, others stood with their backs to him in Protest of his appearance as was reported at TownHall.com. When a man expressed his disgust at Ayer's appearance, Ayer's blames Fox News for any 'confusion' someone might have about him. That's Rich...the man has written books Bragging about his activities, and swipes at Fox News. I think it's called: Diversion.

Still not sure if Bill "I'm going to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom" Ayers is openly mocking the absurdity of those who Voted for Obama? On Friday, November 7, just days after the election Bill Ayers attended a speech given by none other than Rev. Jeremiah Wright at Northwestern University as reported by the school newspaper, The Daily Northwestern.

Why do I have the feeling we're going to be seeing a lot more of this guy?

"Un-Fairness Doctrine" Updated!!

One of the problems in discussing the "Fairness Doctrine" is that the name itself is misleading. The more appropriate name is "Censorship Doctrine", as it has been called by many. I have multiple reasons for Vehemently opposing the re institution of this 'doctrine', not the least of which is my desire to maintain the Right as guaranteed to me by the First Amendment of the Constitution. The liberals are all about Freedom of Speech when it comes to Blasphemy and Treason but discuss Christianity or Conservatism and that's just Dangerous!

Wikipedia explains the principle:

"The Fairness Doctrine was a policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that required the holders of broadcast licenses to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced."


What the Liberals will tell you: The Fairness Doctrine brings balanced information to the people.

The Truth: It will silence Conservative Voices.

Why? Because the Liberals already control the OLM, Talk Radio is the last bastion for Conservative Ideas to be shared. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck are just a few of those voices that would be silenced. Conservative Talk Radio has flourished because people listen to it. Glenn Beck appropriately calls his show the "Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment". Conservative Hosts pride themselves on educating their audiences, with information and Wit. This model has delivered Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck the number one, two and three most listened to talk shows in the Country, in that order. So obviously it's working...

Liberal Talk Radio doesn't work mostly because people don't want to tune it to a Raving lunatic repeating himself over and over again for three hours...Think "Bush Lied" "Bush is a Liar" "Bush lies" etc. Liberals are incapable of defending their positions without resorting to Name calling and hyperbole. Who would tune it to hear that everyday? The disastrous Air America isn't successful because No one listens. No listeners, No Advertisers....it's a short trip to bankruptcy from there.

The Un-Fairness Doctrine would force Radio stations to broadcast a Liberal show for every Conservative show it airs. So if a station now airs Beck,Limbaugh, Hannity, they would be forced to replace at least one if not two of the previous with Randi Rhoades or the man who is trying to steal the Minnesota election, Stuart Smally himself, Al Franken. Radio stations would inevitably lose listeners, but they would also lose fifty percent of all the conservative Voices now on the air. When Radio Stations lose fifty percent of their listeners in one day, they switch formats, to something that will attract more listeners. Thus silencing even those Conservative shows that survived the initial cuts. Liberal Mission Accomplished.

Several democrats have expressed an interest in Censoring conservative voices through this measure, including Sen. Jeff Bingaman who calls the "Fairness Doctrine" a "Higher Calling"... in this interview with KKOB in New Mexico.

The Media Research Center, a conservative media watch dog group has created The Free Speech Alliance a group according to the website that is made up of groups and individuals that are joined together to fight for Freedom of Speech. They have organized an online petition to "reject any attempts to limit free speech".

Podesta, a co-chairman of President-elect Barack Obama's White House transition team, and former chief of staff in the Clinton administration, was a critical player in the startup of this Far Left "media monitoring" website.
Media Matters is actively pushing to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine that would essentially silence talk radio.

Say more than Thank You to Veterans and our Troops...Support them

Today being Veteran's Day I thought I would take the time to recognize our Veterans as well as those currently serving in the United States Military. My husband is a Navy man, and it's just one of the reasons I love him so. It takes a special person to be willing to risk your life in defense of your Country, and I am eternally grateful to those who have chosen to serve.

You haven't heard much about our Troops in the OLM lately, but here's a little secret....We are Winning in Iraq. Yes it's been a slow road and we've made some mistakes, but within the last month we have turned over 2/3 of the provinces to the Iraqi Security forces. Because of the fortitude of the Men and women in the US Military, 55 Million Iraqi people live in a Country free of dictatorship. Sounds like "News" to me, but google search it...see how many OLM outlets have even covered this story....

While the OLM has spent the last seven years, planning our defeat, the Men and Women of the United States Military have been actually sacrificing for Victory. The Spread of Democracy and the destruction of Al-Queda. Those that have criticized the Bush Administration for ignoring Bid Laden, will be pleased to know that the New York Treasonous Times, has reported that secret attacks have been carried out against Al-Queda forces in Afganistan and Pak-E-stan since 2004. Breaching National Security is so important at the Old Gray Hag, they will admit they were wrong about the inability to operate two theatres of battle at once. I don't mean to make light of the fact that the NYTimes has once again put our Military's plans, operations and more importantly our personel at considerable risk, but I'm not surprised. It's not even the first time they've done it. Remember the secret CIA interogations...You know the one's that stopped numerous attacks....until the NYT's blew the whistle and the Liberals went insane....I digress...

When I say Thank you to those who are or have served my Country, I mean it. It is not some hollow gesture. I know I could not be as selfless as you are, I am not as brave as you are, nor do I have your strength. I appreciate all that you have allowed me to do in my life as a result of your sacrifice. I am not someone who only cares about the Military in theory, but not in Practice. I understand the role of our Military as Soldiers and defenders of Freedom.

Kyle-Anne Shiver over at American Thinker wrote an amazing article on Operation Gratitude, an all volunteer organization that fills and delivers care packages to all of our Troops in Harms way.



She talks about some unforseen benefits of Operation Gratitude's committment to care packages.


Every time I talk to Carolyn Blashek, America's Troop Mom, she tells me another story that sends chills up my spine and often brings tears to my eyes. This one, though, takes the cake as far as I'm concerned.


It seems that another wonderful American lady, who loves Beanie Babies, convinced Carolyn that these adorable little bean-stuffed critters would make a great addition to OpGrat care packages for the troops. Since the lady donated a whole lot of them, Carolyn agreed and faithfully included them in packages, not sure what the reactions from grown men and women in a theater of war would be.


Almost immediately, email began arriving, specifically mentioning the Beanie Babies. Stories were as varied and inventive as the great American ingenuity that inspired them. Soldiers told of Beanie Baby squad mascots, creative naming projects, competitive games centered upon the latest Beanie Baby, and on an on and on. Truly, even Carolyn was shocked at the overall success of the Beanie Baby project. Humorous diversions in hellish circumstances, of course, are as old as war itself, so perhaps we shouldn't be surprised.


But then, startling revelations began to arrive at the OpGrat headquarters, and the Beanie Baby project took on a whole new meaning. They were actually saving lives and helping to win the war.


Some of our truly exceptional, brilliant soldiers had the idea to trade the Beanie Babies with Iraqi children for information on hidden IED's. The children, so bereft of toys, gladly showed soldiers where explosives were hidden in exchange for the coveted cuddly critters.


Soldiers saved by a toy, proving once again that God truly works in mysterious ways. Who could have imagined this?

Liberals are apparently stuck in attack mode,in response to the two comments I just published, where I was called both Stupid and a Bigot by two different two members of the Party of Tolerance and Love. I give you the Height of Hypocrisy...

The Ridiculous 52-48 Site. This is a website set up by liberals to express their "love" for us 48% that didn't buy the Magic Beans. I'm not kidding, while it is not my job to question someones intentions. I can't believe that Obama supporters think the way to Win graciously is to open a website that openly patronizes McCain supporters. I told you they were bad winners....I just can't believe they actually think we'll forget how horrifically they have behaved for eight long years, not to mention how they ratcheted it up a notch once they started backing Obama. Unbelievable.

Liberals Are Never Happy...

This is the strangest election of my life time. I will tell you I have been actively watching politics since I was very young, like six. It's weird, I know. When I was in ninth grade, I decided I wanted to become a lobbyist. I found out that they had more influence than elected officials, had better salaries and couldn't get voted out of their position. It made perfect sense as I'd been planning law school since first grade.

While in College, I was a political science major and worked on several campaigns. I was also active in Young Republicans and student congress. Keep in mind I was in College, the liberal bastion of liberal bastions when Bill Clinton won in 1992, then again in 1996. Those were not great election years, but 1994 was. It taught me the importance of Mid-term elections.

When George W. Bush won, I was thrilled. The Democrats decided based on a media report that pre-maturely called Florida, that Bush had "stolen the election". But I ignored them because my guy had Won. I'm a good sport, no need to rub it in their faces. When Bush Trounced Kerry in 2004, They said "yeah, but he stole the election in 2000", so I guess even they knew Kerry was a bad choice. I however was again pleased with the results and paid no mind to the blathering of crazy people.

That's how it usually works, Winners happy, Losers unhappy. Here we are in 2008, Barack Obama has just won the Nomination. He's spent record money running a campaign summarized as "Bush Bad-Obama Change". First there was Dancing in the Streets and of course the obligatory altercations with the Police, but now less than a week later, The Liberals are Unhappy again. And I think it has something to do with Bush. Maybe it's because he won't just hand over the keys to the White House like they'd prefer, but something is amiss in the party of Love and Tolerance. Just the other day I overheard a reference to Bush stealing the election in 2000, from a liberal attempting to defend Obama's out right purchase of this one. It was a surreal moment.

RightMichigan reports that over the weekend, this Gay Activist group crashed a Church Service in Michigan. Gay Activists took to the streets of California after the Gay Marriage Ban passed last week....then there was that protest outside the Mormon Church in Utah by the Gay Activists unhappy with the ruling, seeing a pattern here? Obama's first group to be truly disappointed is his Gay Voters. They thought an Obama victory would bring them Victory as well. They were wrong and now they are pissed. They are just the first to find out that Obama isn't going to solve all their problems.

In the Words of a great comedian Ron White, "I told you all that to tell you this..." Nothing makes Liberals happy. Apparently not even winning the biggest political contest in the World.

Ms. Thatcher Had the Right Idea

Even though Barack Obama won't be sworn into office for another two months, he's already started giving us a Preview of the wonders of The One's administration. On Friday at his first press conference since his "historic" victory, from behind his fake presidential seal adorned podium, Obama attempted to show leadership while insulting former First Lady, Nancy Reagan. The Media's president later apologized for his comments about doing a "seance" with Ronald Reagan's beloved wife, apparently he didn't realize that it wasn't appropriate for the President elect to openly mock an ailing Icon of our country. So much for that bipartisian nonsense he was blathering about late Tuesday night....

Honestly, that's fine with me. I'm not really in the mood for pretending anyway. I'd rather we just lay it all out on the table. Obama must agree because he has wasted No time in announcing that he will attempt to overturn around 200 executive orders signed by George W. Bush, mostly relating to expanding Abortion rights, increased Federal Funding for Stem Cell Research and 'climate change' initiatives according to the Washington Post. This should please his Evangelical supporters.....

While Obama is more than willing to announce his War on the Unborn to the world, he was less committed to our Allies in Europe. You remember those pesky Russians that invaded Georgia awhile back, well turns out now they've decided to put Missiles on the border of Poland. I'm sure the fact that the Russian's made this announcement the day after America selected the most liberal presidential candidate in history is just a coincidence, in fact the Russian President didn't even mention Obama by name. I'm sure that was just an over sight, he probably really respects and fears the Community organizer's tenacity. It really doesn't matter what the current President thinks anyway, as Vladimir Putin will be taking over the Office any day now.

Putin is going to use this momentary lapse of reason in American history to try and regain the land and power of the Former Soviet Union. What does Obama say about all of this? Well it depends on who you ask...Spokesman for the office of the president elect, (what is that by the way?)said that Obama had not "committed" to putting up the missile defense shield in Poland, the President of Poland upon hearing this replied, "That's Not what he Told me." I'm paraphrasing of course. But there you have it, Russia is threatening young democratic nations, and Obama can't decide what he's supposed to do. It's the same thing that happened after the Georgia invasion, and Obama's first inclination was to try and stay out of it. He did the same thing during the "Greatest Financial Crisis of our Time". He just stood on the sidelines and tried not to get his hands dirty. It's going to be an interesting four years, I should never run out of things to write about...

But Ironically enough, I first started this blog over a year ago, with an entry called "Spectator Nation". It's not very well written, but I wrote it because I was so disgusted with the lack of participation by Americans in their government. My frustration was that no one paid attention and that Congress got away with doing nothing but lining their own pockets. Here we are just 14 months later, after an election that people participated in record numbers, yet I am more concerned now than I was then. My whole fear when writing that orginial article was that people weren't paying attention, the results of the Election do not change my opinion, in fact I consider it confirmation. Again I recommend a great movie called "Idiocracy" for referrence to the effects of repetive marketing campaigns on us as a People. For those of you who've seen it..."Obama's made of electrolites!" America elected a president in much the same way they pick a winner of American Idol, they liked the way he made them "feel". Well, now we're all going to 'feel it'.

To quote Sean Hannity, "Now more than ever.." we need to keep an eye on our Governement. We cannot afford to be complacent. We need to be Good Citizens of our Constitution, and challenge our Govenrment to represent us as we see fit. As promised I've added the Get Involved Section on the Right Side Bar, I will also be adding a petition section as need be, several are currently being drafted about the Fairness Act and the funding of our Troops. We are now the Opposition Party, it is our Duty to behave as such when the Enemies of democracy are emboldened by America's selection of an appeasement President. We the People...need to be Involved

Since the announcement of President elect Barack Obama, the stock market crashed 10 percent, the worst since 1987, Hamas fired 35 Missiles to Israel, AJad called from Iran to congratulate Obama, and Russia announced they are placing missiles on the border of Poland. That all happened in the last 36 hours. So we afford to be complacent. Americans need to stay engaged and involved.

We The People that did not Vote for Barack Obama must remain diligent over the Democratic Controlled Congress. We must be aware of every bill they attempt to slide past our faces. We must protect Free Speech, the rights of the Unborn and our 2nd Amendment. We must fight for Tax protection and a free market. Most importantly we Must defend our Troops at all cost. Ready to get to Work? On the GOP website you can look up your representatives' contact information by entering in your zip code. Give them a call or shoot them an e-mail as often as you'd like, you can remind them Who they actually work for....Find your Representatives Now.

I've been contacted by several people that have decided they would like to and I'm quoting now..."Do something before 2010". Well, I'm a salesperson by day, and I'm going to share a little secret with you, You need to sell between the Sales. That is exactly what we are going to do.

Our message is not one that lends itself to bumper sticker slogans or soundbite journalism. No, our message is best conveyed in conversations and open discussions. The first thing that we must do is Educate ourselves on the issues. Read up on what is going on in our Country and around the globe. I have found over the last few years, getting perspective is essential in real growth. Understand that our principles are simple, smaller government, lower taxes, culture of life, and strong National Defense. These are just common sense principles that are shared by people of all walks of life. So why aren't Republicans winning in landslide victories? Because we've allowed the OLM and others to stereo type our Party as being a bunch of Rich old White Guys or Hillbillies. The only way to change that stereo type is for people to find out what We are really all about. You can help that happen just by talking to people you know.


For those of you still watching the OLM-namely, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN or MSNBC for your "News" stop doing that. On television you have Fox News, but on line you have literally unlimited sources of information. Two sites I recommend visiting daily is the DrudgeReport and HotAir.com, the OLM often refers to Drudge for their stories, yet demonize him as a Conservative Blogger. Truth is Drudge is a headline site. Matt Drudge the father of blogging, posts all the most interesting headlines and he updates them throughout the day. These links come from articles from around the globe. This is a fantastic way to keep up with what's going on in the World. Another site that I would recommend is HotAir.com, this site offers Headlines from all over in a number of different categories and topics, it also features Opinion blogs on top stories too. The first step is choosing to stand up for something, being informed gives you the ammunition to inform others.

Want to make sure this doesn't happen again in 2010? Get involved, Today. Below I've put together some information on different organizations that will allow you to do something. Don't wait. Pick one that feels right to you and commit. Doing something always cures anxiety.


The first option is the Republican National Committee. I'm giving you a link to the GOP State page, You can find your state, Join the RNC, find local events, featured speakers, fundraisers etc. This is a great way to make a real impact on the local level. It's also a fantastic way to meet like minded individuals. These groups are active even in non-election years, so they are always Welcoming to New members.

For those that have more of an interest in strictly Conservative issues, I highly recommend the American Conservative Union, this is the group behind the Conservative American Political Conference held each year, a symposium of conservative thinkers. I have attended local CPAC events in Richmond and it was always worth the price of admission. You should be able to find a local chapter in your area.

The women behind Team Sarah, a group founded in partnership with the Susan B. Anthony foundation is currently forming chapters to promote Strong Conservative Female candidates. If you were inspired by Sarah Palin's and want to see more like her in the Political future. This group while very new has a great deal of commitment and is highly motivated.


This is a very incomplete list, but a great starting point. Starting Tomorrow I will put a permanent sidebar with all of these links as well as several others, so if you ever want to refer back or share with a friend, they will be easy to find. These groups will welcome your time or your donations, which ever you can spare.

Take all those emotions that you are currently feeling and direct them to something positive. We can not change the outcome of this election, but we've already got 2010 in our sites. I guarantee you, This Revolution Will Not Be Televised....

America has Spoken

The people have spoken....and they've choosen Barack Obama. I am obviously very disappointed with the Outcome, but as I am not a Liberal, I will not spend the next 2years crying that he Stole the election. He bought and paid for it, so It's rightfully his in my opinion. Congrats to His Supporters.....You did this. Just remember that.

John McCain attempted to overcome insurrmountable Odds to win a Nation that was brainwashed into believing President Bush is the cause for all their problems. Considering the fact that McCain pulled in over 55 Million Votes, tells me that all is not lost, their will be Opposition to the Marxist ideology of the New President.

I want to Thank John McCain for his efforts, he fought to the finish when lesser men would have given up long ago. You may not be President, Sen McCain but you are a Real American Hero and we'll be counting on you in the Senate to protect us from true Socialism.

As for Sarah Palin, she has inspired me throughout this campaign. I hope that she takes a leading role in the Conservative Movement. I will be following her career no matter what direction it takes. As a Conservative Woman, I am proud to have Voted for her in this historic election.

So dear Readers, this is not what I was hoping for America in this election cycle, but it doesn't Change who I am or what I believe. I'm a Conservative who Loves America. That will never "Change".

We the People...It's Time to Vote!!

The time has come the interview is over and it's time for America to decide who they will hire as the next President of the United States. I will be offering the job to John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin, because He is the Best Candidate for the Job. He has the most experience, he has the right ideas, and most importantly he's willing to do the work the position requires. Nothing will stop me from casting my Vote for John McCain. Regardless of how the OLM will say I'll have long lines, and waiting...if need be, I'll wait.

John McCain can win this thing, but he needs each of us to do our part. He's now tied in all the swing states, so it will come down to exactly what I told you all along....Voter Turn Out. That's how elections are won and lost. Actual Votes. Remember the National numbers had John Kerry winning by 6 point in 2004, Thank God we actually Voted.

John McCain will lead this country in the direction we need to go. He stands up for Small Business and lower taxes, that's good for the Economy. He supports an "all of the above" approach to energy, which affects the Economy as well as National Security. He thinks that Government needs to eliminate 'wasteful spending", I couldn't agree more, he's actually even done it before! When he stood up for Tax payers against defense contractors who were fleecing us through their Reps in Congress.

On the Two Major Issues for this Election: Iraq and Economy- John McCain has been Right and Barack Obama couldn't have been more wrong.

When everyone else wanted to give up on Iraq, John McCain stood up for America and her troops, putting his political career at Risk to support the Surge. Barack Obama wanted to retreat in defeat. Turns out John McCain was Right.

In 2005, John McCain started sounding the alarm about Fannie and Freddie. Barack Obama praised "affordable housing" offered by sub-prime mortgages. Turns out McCain was right about that as well.

John McCain has earned my Vote. I will be the first person in line to Cast it tomorrow morning.

The other candidate, Barack Obama has shown himself throughout this interview process to be a liar, a thief, and a Marxist. I'm not sure why he's even still on the Ballot. But apparently there are those who doubt he's "as bad as he seems".

I think the latest revelation about the Coal industry is actually a perfect summation of what Barack Obama really represents. See Obama's been out claiming to support Coal in his speeches, in his ads, and through his surrogates both hired and of course the OLM. He tells the People of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado and others that He supports "Clean Coal Technology"...well as Obama says 'Words Matter'. And in this case Obama has made it clear through his statements in January of this year, he plans to bankrupt the Coal industry through higher fines and regulations. So when Obama says "Clean Coal" what he really means is NO coal. It's all how you say it.

So he plans to Bankrupt an industry. In addition to the thousands of jobs that will be lost, and added Bonus for Obama is that energy costs will "Skyrocket", forcing Americans to change their "habits". So while Obama is out there proclaiming to want Energy Independence, in actuality he plans to shut down the Coal industry which produces around 54% of our electricity. That doesn't sound like the path of independence to me. It sounds like Jimmy Carter. He did so much for America's Coal Industry..that whole Department of Energy really helped keep Americans working in Coal producing states didn't it?

Obama upon hearing his own words used against him, released a statement saying he was taken out of context. So he didn't really say he planned to bankrupt an entire industry? Funny, I heard him say it myself, then I watched the Video of him saying it and I'm pretty sure that is exactly what he said. Context or No.

But again this Coal Story is just a prime example of why I wouldn't hire Barack Obama to feed my cats. He is a liar, and when he gets caught in a lie, he lies some more. He will say anything to get elected. Anything. He takes zero responsibility for any scandal he's been associated.

When it was found out Obama did some shady real estate deal to buy his house with convicted felon Tony Rezco, Obama called it a "bone headed move". Funny that's the exact same term he used when it was found out he thought Pennsylvanians were "Bitter, clinging to guns and religion". Yep he called that "Bone headed" too.

When controversy first started over Rev. Wright, Obama said he couldn't disown the man who married him, baptized his children and mentored him for over 20 years. But then Obama did Disavow Rev. Wright, when the relationship was seen to have a negative impact on Primary Voters. Poor Hillary. After the Rev's story broke, Obama couldn't win a Primary, but it was too late for Hillary, they took away her Victories in Florida and Michigan to hand the nomination to Obama.

Obama dismissed Bill Ayers as a 'guy from my neighborhood'. I live in a neighborhood too, I don't make public policy with my neighbors. Normally we just wave while we're getting the mail. Obviously, Obama's neighborhood is different.

Obama when questioned about his relationship with former PLO spokesman, Rashid Khalidi, Obama said "he's not one of my advisors". Okay, but clearly you are friends, I mean you did say you have dinner a lot and they baby sit your kids, so I'm guessing you're on a first name basis. But I am glad that Obama draws the line at Friend and not Advisor for Terrorists.


When it became clear that his mantra of "Tax Cuts for 95% of Americans" was completely unfounded. He started backtracking and adding words to his sentences to try and make them sound more true. "Working Americans" etc, but the truth is Obama plans to Raise Taxes, he has said so Repeatedly. He just says it in a way that sounds better. I'm going to make 'others pay their fair share". Trust me if companies get taxed more, everything costs more and jobs are inevitably lost.

What is beyond ironic to me is that the one thing that has given Obama his lead in the polls was as he is so fond of saying "The Greatest Economic Crisis of Our Time". Meanwhile in Reality, Obama, his friends at ACORN and of course his donors at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are more responsible than Anyone for the current economic downturn. Crazy.

What was the one Constant in all these cases? Obama lied, then changed his story and most importantly...The Media Covered it All Up. Just another reason to Vote for McCain.

Don't listen to the Polls or the Media. They want you to stay home tomorrow. Don't let them Win. Get in Line, brave the cold, do whatever you need to do, but Vote.

Let Your Voice Be Heard. Get Out and Vote. We the People will decide who Wins this election not the OLM or the Polls.

With just 24 hours to go before I can cast my vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin, I wanted to give you all a little inspiration to get your through the day. Just remember the Only Poll that matters is tomorrow's poll...Don't let the OLM keep you home, get out and Vote. If you do nothing else on November 4th, Make sure you Vote.

Obama: Do As I Say...Not As I Do

After watching Obama's infomerical the other night, I couldn't help but wonder who was buying Obama's "Magic Beans". The magical ones that would eliminate all your bills, and you wouldn't have to work hard to achieve...You know Obama-topia. Then I saw the video of this Obama supporter, who apparently really believes that if Obama wins, she "won't have to worry about putting gas in her car or paying her mortgage. "

Apparently Ms. Joseph hasn't heard about how Barack treats his own family. I've told you before about his brother George who lives in a shack in Africa on about $12 a month. But now the AP has discovered that Obama's Aunt Zeituni Onyango, the one he describes in his book "Dreams of My Father", living in subsidized housing in Boston. Turns out Barack's Aunt has been living in this country illegally for four years and living off Government assistance. She was ordered to be deported the same year, that she attended Obama's celebration of his United States Senate seat. She apparently called her nephew two years ago, but yesterday he released a statement saying he didn't know she was here in the country illegally or that she was living off the government. Do not mistake I am not condemning Ms. Onyango. I understand why someone from Kenya would want to stay here, under any circumstances, possible, but there is No Excuse for Barack Obama's negligence when it came to his own family.

This Guy has some Cojones. He blatantly ignores his own Family members suffering, then turns around and lectures Americans about being "Selfish" for wanting to keep the money they earn. Obama needs to a lesson on what Charity really is, and so does his "I gave at the Office" Running Mate, Joe Biden. I gave more to Charity last year than Biden. I have housed more friends and family over the years, than the two of them combined and I'm "Selfish"? And Obama has made millions of his book sales, yet allowed those family members that he spoke so highly of in those books to live in squalor. And I''m the "Selfish" one? Please.

I just can't believe that Obama supporters are scraping those bumper stickers off with Razorblades yet. They might as well have P.T. Barnum's picture on their shirts and stickers. Obama puts on a good show, but there is zero substance. I can't wait to Vote for McCain.

McCain Supporters Putting Country First

Part of Barack Obama's rhetoric from the beginning is that He is The Great Uniter. I'm not sure why he thinks that, as there is nothing in his history to suggest such a claim, not one instance. But that's how he's painted himself along with his Disciples in the OLM. Just this morning, Obama gave a speech touting himself as someone who would end divisiveness. Meanwhile in Back in Reality, Obama's campaign has been littered with race baiting, demonizing of George W. Bush and John McCain, and silencing Anyone who dared speak out against The One. Obama's idea of ending divisiveness is to eliminate any dissenters, that is not the same as bringing people of different ideology to common ground. But it is one way to look at Obama's plan for "Harmony"....

John McCain on the other hand has a long history of working with people from both parties when it was good for America. I've told you before that there are many groups out there supporting John McCain, that the OLM will not tell you about. Many of these groups have formed grass roots programs, some have even produced Television commercials to air in Swing States.

One of these groups is the Democrats for Principle before Party, formed from the Denver Group. The Group is currently running their third ad comparing Obama to Nixon in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Florida.

In addition you can see what other Democrats are doing to support John McCain and Sarah Palin at HillBuzz, a site maintained and visited by Hillary Clinton supporters. This group along with P.U.M.A. have really worked the ground game on behalf of McCain/Palin in Ohio and Pennsyvania.

These Democrats have put their Country First and are not only Voting for John McCain they are campaigning for him. Something that makes me admire them and the man they support.

One of Obama's former speech writers, Wendy Button, told her readers earlier this week that she is supporting McCain.

This drift started on a personal level with the fall of former Senator John Edwards. It got stronger during the Democratic National Convention when I counted the substantive mentions of poverty on one hand and a whole bunch of bad canned partisan lines against Senator John McCain. Some faith was lifted after Senator Hillary Clinton’s grace during a difficult hour. But that faith was dashed when I saw that someone had raided the Caligula set and planted the old columns at Invesco Field.

The final straw came the other week when Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a Joe the Plumber) asked a question about higher taxes for small businesses. Instead of celebrating his aspirations, they were mocked. He wasn’t “a real plumber,” and “They’re fighting for Joe the Hedge-Fund manager,” and the patronizing, “I’ve got nothing but love for Joe the Plumber.”

As the nation slouches toward disaster, the level of political discourse is unworthy of this moment in history. We have Republicans raising Ayers and Democrats fostering ageism with “erratic” and jokes about Depends. Sexism. Racism. Ageism and maybe some Socialism have all made their ugly cameos in election 2008. It’s not inspiring. Perhaps this is why I found the initial mocking of Joe so offensive and I realized an old line applied: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left me.”

These groups are following the lead of other Democrats, many that had backed Hillary Clinton, two weeks ago Lady Lynne de Rothschild, a former "Hillraiser" hosted a fund raiser for McCain and Palin in New York city attended by several well know Democrats. The New York Times reported this event brought in more than $500,000 for McCain/Palin. Sounds like McCain's bipartisanship is more than just Campaign Rhetoric to me.

So if these Democrats are working so hard to get McCain elected? What are you going to do? Talk to you friends, share the above links and information with those that are conservative democrats that do not want to Vote for Obama, but have never Voted for a Republican in their life. They are not alone. Moderate Democrats all over the country are moving to McCain. With their help, we will put McCain and Palin in the White House, but you must do your part....Get Out and Vote, and take a friend or two.
